(Governor Nepal Rastra Bank)
Since its inception, Media International has been contributing to economic and banking topics, their promotion, financial awareness and awareness raising. I believe that the souvenir published by this organization, which is dedicated to the economic progress and prosperity of the country as a whole, will definitely be useful and enlightening for the general public and the community. Although the development and expansion of the supply side of financial services is a necessary infrastructure for the economic prosperity of the country, establishing universal access to that service is equally indispensable. The use of digital financial tools under the literacy campaign to increase enterprise, employment, production and income by strengthening the demand and use of financial services is an accepted topic. In a developing country like ours, this campaign has become like an alternative means for poverty alleviation by bringing the people who are backward in many ways into the scope of financial inclusion. There is no doubt that this campaign will help to embody the concept of a prosperous Nepal and a happy Nepali as reflected by the Government of Nepal. Best wishes to Media International for further success in this endeavour.
(Chairman Nepal Securities Board)
Media International, which was established to raise the voice of financial literacy and entrepreneurship to support the government's financial and financial goals, is launching a nationwide campaign for financial literacy: Financial Awakening: National Campaign is very important. I have experienced that this campaign, which is being conducted by Media International in collaboration with various agencies of the Government of Nepal, has laid the foundation of financial literacy in the country. A large part of the financial sector needs to be made aware of the common citizens about the capital market, and there is a need to bring the capital market education to the masses. Keeping this requirement in mind, the Nepal Securities Board has been running various programs but it is not enough. In the past, through the banking expo and capital market expo conducted by that organization, there has been an important contribution to the information communication and literacy of the capital market. Nepal Securities Board will continue to cooperate in such programs in the coming days as well. Economic development of the society and the nation is impossible until citizens are financially literate. Along with financial literacy, it is important for every citizen to be literate about digital transactions. I would like to highly appreciate this work because that organization has been conducting financial digitization literacy to assist financial literacy in digital financial transactions. In order to achieve the economic direction to the target, it is necessary to conduct such programs from every level and sector. I wish Media International more success in conducting such programs more effectively in the future.
